Inspect Boss Privacy Policy

Inspect Boss is a Chrome extension that helps users inspect the visual structure and implementation details of webpages.


Data processing

Inspect Boss processes inspected webpage information locally in the user’s browser. The extension does not send inspected webpage data to Inspect Boss servers.


Inspect Boss does not collect or transmit:

  • Personal information

  • Passwords or authentication data

  • Form values

  • Cookies

  • Browser storage

  • Access tokens

  • Private messages

  • Location data

  • Browsing history

  • Payment information


The extension may read the currently open webpage only after the user explicitly starts an inspection. This access is used to display information such as HTML structure, CSS, colors, fonts, images, accessibility observations, technology signals, and SEO metadata inside the Chrome side panel.


Feedback

If a user selects the feedback link, their email application opens so they can manually contact the developer at e.rakib@gmail.com. Inspect Boss does not automatically collect or transmit feedback.


Payments

The “Buy me a Coffee” link opens an external Lemon Squeezy payment page. Inspect Boss does not collect, process, or store payment information. Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy under its own privacy policy.


AI sharing

The Share with AI feature prepares a local report for the user to review. Inspect Boss does not automatically send webpage data to an AI service. Any external sharing happens only when the user explicitly chooses an external destination.


Storage and security

Inspect Boss may store limited inspection preferences or results locally in the browser. This information is not transmitted to the developer’s servers.


Third-party services

Inspect Boss does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or a remote data collection service.


Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated if the extension’s data practices change. The latest version will always be published at this URL.
